The Society of Women Engineers is excited to unravel the 2015 Sweeties Program this upcoming Fall. The goal of this Program is to introduce our freshman members to all aspects of SWE, as well as all of the opportunities that SWE provides. The "Sweeties", all the freshman who are in the program, will be able to indulge in Social, Outreach, and Networking events while developing technical skills, excellent study habits, and many friendships along the way. After a few months of being in the SWEeties program, the girls will have a graduation, where they are awarded for all of the accomplishments that they had in their first few months of college. This program allows freshman engineers of all majors to work together towards a common goal. The program also creates an interface for the upperclassmen and underclassmen of the Club to begin to work together and get to know one another. Thanks to Boeing Company and its generous grant, the 2015 Sweeties Program will be the best one yet!
"Although attending a large college campus can be intimidating, the SWEeties program helped me form a community of women who have the same goals and ambitions as I do. Because of SWEeties I not only have familiar faces in my classes, but also friendships that will last a lifetime. "
